Very useful to get the perfect fondant width and beautiful imprints using embossing plates. Best use with a silicone matt. There is a smooth side and rough side for different surfaces.
You can use for rolling out perfect slabs of cookie dough too.
To calculate the width you want, add the thickness of your acrylic and the end desired thickness of your fondant base. eg Acrylic embossing plate is 3mm thick and I want 2mm thick fondant therefore I want 5mm guides.
